Tooth extraction refers to the complete removal of one or more teeth from the mouth. REASONS FOR TOOTH EXTRACTIONS

1.Teeth affected by tooth decay or periodontal disease to the extent that they cannot be treated with a dental filling crown or root canal treatment.
2.Injury or trauma that has led to a broken or damaged tooth that is beyond repair
3.A dental or gum abscess that has weakened the root of the tooth
4.Mal occlusion or crowding of teeth
5.Impaction of teeth (wisdom teeth)that has led to the failure of the tooth to emerge from the gum.
